Defensive Driver Training in Safe Cars at Cantor’s Driving School

Cantor’s Driving School offers defensive driving lessons in late model, state of the art vehicles with 5-star safety ratings. All cars are specially equipped with dual control brakes and secondary mirrors so that the instructor can also slow or stop the vehicle. The extra mirrors provide the instructor with full visibility too.

All Cantor’s Driving School cars have the following safety features:

Cantor's new training cars for 2011 include the 2010 Mazda3 and 2011 Mazda3. The 2011 Mazda3 received the Top Safety Pick designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Safety features include advanced dual front air bags, front side-impact air bags and side-impact air curtains, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC modulates the throttle an brakes when over- or under-steer is detected, and Traction Control System (TCS adjusts throttle when traction is lost), Adaptive Front Lighting System and Active Front Headrests to help guard against injury during rear impact. It is also clean and fuel efficient, receiving the US EPA's Smart Way certification mark, identifying it among the cleanest and most fuel-efficient cars available.

 

Cantor's defensive driving lessons are also provided in 2010 Toyota Corolla cars. The 2010 Toyota Corolla was rated at the highest safety rating level for almost all categories by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and was given a 4 star crash test rating by The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
